ECO SHIPPING CONTAINER CABIN

Greetings from Mexico! 🙂

ECO SHIPPING CONTAINER CABIN

Crafted from a single, 20-foot shipping container, this home created by Max Living & Design shows that no matter how small a home is you can create a dream house in even the smallest setting. The eco-friendly home uses a water filtration system that recycles rainwater, and the pool is filled with non-potable water.

Measuring in at 672 square feet, the home offers a spacious accommodation for up to four people, and the added details, including the floor to ceiling windows/doors that let fresh air in, the pool and the beautiful deck make this home even more memorable.

As you enter the home, you’ll immediately notice how sophisticated, modern, and polished the home’s interior looks and feels. The eat-in kitchen is a space saver.  The kitchen offers a refrigerator, sink, and small range, as well as cabinets for storage space. Around the corner, hanging wine storage keeps your best bottles within reach and saves space while a small cocktail area keeps glasses and a martini shaker at the ready after a long day.

The contemporary design of the living room gives way to two leather chairs and a comfortable couch. A sleek, black coffee table sits in the center, creating the perfect spot to unwind. Once you slide open the container’s doors, you’ll love the amount of breeze and sunshine that flow through the home.

What’s behind this glossy, black wall? Another space-saving, ingenious idea that keeps the home from being too crowded yet provides everything you could possibly need. A pull-down, double bed, offers a spot to sleep that takes up very little space. The built-in, custom bed sits on a stylish wooden plank and looks right at home in the cozy nook it’s in.

Outside the home, the deck is an inviting place to while away a sunny afternoon, and the small but fully functional pool simply begs to be lounged in. This tiny home is perfect for entertaining guests!
